Kaleidoscope

I've started to experiment with my Diana. In this image I put a kaleidoscope-lens in front of the shutter... The light didn't penetrate the lens as much as I wanted.

I'm running out of pictures to post at the moment. I think it's time to send a new batch to my most eminent developer. I also need to get better at taking more pictures which is not the easiest to do considering it is pitch black when I get home from work. Prehaps it's time to build a mini-studio at home and experiment...

A bit late updating... sorry. Work is finally picking up. After months of sitting around not doing much, things are starting to change... for the better in my opinion. I hate sitting around doing nothing. I'm sure I'll regret my own words soon...

So its Wednesday... The weather forecast reads 3°c and rain... Can things be more depressing? Well, yeah it could... However, I hope this image cheers you up just a little bit.

In 1291, the glass makers of Venice were forced to move to Murano due to the risks of fire. In the following century, exports began, and the island became famous, initially for glass beads and mirrors. Today, the artisans of Murano are still employing these centuries-old techniques, crafting everything from contemporary art glass and glass jewelry to Murano glass chandeliers and wine stoppers (?).

Today it's Friday! Fridays are nice. Fridays have a tendency to set the mood for the whole weekend. Since it is the Halloween-weekend (or Allahelgona as its called here) I thought it would be a good idea to post an image of Max taken a couple of weeks ago when we were at a friends birthday party. And yes, he's in a costume! Happy Halloween to you all!!
